Island Life Unplugged

Rarotonga

May 2026

Unplugged from your world

You escaped with us to Rarotonga and let our Island Life Unplugged be seven nights of holistic wellness that nourished your body and soul.

Whether you came by yourself, or with your partner or friend you joined with likeminded - openhearted - people in a place of rest and healing from our busy lives.  We soaked up the peace and quiet and devote yourself to your complete wellbeing – your hauora.

Our bespoke event was held at Sokala Villas and the adjacent Navigator – both are locally owned and operated by wonderful whanau.

Your investment in you

You joined Ann-Maree as she infused her wairuatanga (spirituality)and manakitanga (care) with other Polynesian cultures to nurture you through a range of yoga practices, relax your body with wellbeing workshops and cacao ceremonies.

Whatever your depth of yoga, Ann-Maree guided you through a practice suited to you.  Your Island Life Unplugged retreat included an hour with a local masseur, offering relaxation and deep tissue work.  All of this took place in idyllic outdoor and indoor spaces in the privacy of our venues.

Nurture every part of you.

To fully immerse yourself in Island Life, you swam with turtles, laugh through SUP yoga, paddled the beautiful lagoon by day and night, explored the island on foot - and we added in a few extra special surprises that only the Pacific Islands can deliver.  You relaxed by our private pools, took a kayak or SUP and explored the nearby islands.

To sustain your body, you’ll were nourished with a range of pescatarian/vegetarian and plant based (vegan) meals made with aroha by our own chef.  After every sunrise yoga your breakfast was prepared for you, as were three lunches; and our four evening meals are all preceded by our Island Life Unplugged cocktails and ended with Ann-Maree’s famously indulgent desserts.

You enjoyed a full day to explore Rarotonga, or just relaxed on your private deck.

Your host Ann-Maree

“For over thirty rotations of the sun I’ve been sharing my love of yoga and entwining it with my Te Ati Awa whakapapa.

Whether it’s in my Ashram in India, our retreats in Bali and Rarotonga or in the studios around Wellington and Kāpiti, I know that growing our yoga practice and time together nourishes our spirits and releases our life's fullest potential; allowing us to adjust our lifestyles as the wheel of our year, of our lives, turns - a period of renewal and the perfect time to invest in yourself.

Arohanui,”
