Whakaora Yoga are thrilled to announce that we are hosting a yoga filled retreat in the beautiful Cook Islands in May 2022. We scoured Rarotonga and have found a beautiful locally owned and managed venue and some amazing activities and we are now offering a retreat just for you, or you and your partner.
A week focused on your yoga in this charming venue right on the Muri lagoon which we have secured for our exclusive use. Accommodation is in seven twin and double bed villas, and we have a dining deck and a covered yoga area.
For yogis, after our sunrise yoga practice and breakfast each day we will provide activities to explore the island’s culture, nature, and beauty as well as more yoga practises – or you can relax by the four private pools, take a kayak to explore the nearby islands or wander down to the nearby cafes and market.
If you bring your partner then there is a programme of activities; with meals and some activities all together. Whether it be on your mat, swimming with turtles, driving buggies, walking across or cycling around the island, this week will focus on giving both of you a slightly indulgent chance to kick back and share time together. The Retreat will run 9-15th May (NZ Dates)
We made this short yoga video as the sun rose on our last morning in Rarotonga. The soundtrack is from the crew of the Vaka Cruise on Aitutaki.
The retreat will run for six nights and tie into morning departures from Aoteroa.
Pricing – Our Yoga Retreat will be a per person price based on a twin shared villa. If you bring your partner pricing will be for a couple (or two people) sharing. We will advise pricing, deposit, and terms and conditions when you register your interest.
